The Trading & Manufacturing division is a part of the Sunway Group. Established in 1974, Sunway Group is one of Malaysia’s largest conglomerates with 12 business divisions – property, construction, retail, hospitality, leisure, healthcare, education, commercial, trading and manufacturing, building materials, quarrying and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). The Trading & Manufacturing division traces its roots back to 1981. Beginning with trading of heavy equipment, the division later expanded into trading of building materials, hoses & fittings, heavy equipment parts, as well as manufacturing of hydraulic fittings and heavy equipment undercarriage produces. The Trading and Manufacturing division has experienced significant growth through the introduction of three new divisions in recent year, which include Renewable Energy, Automotive, and Pharmaceutical. To date, the division has successfully spanned its wings throughout Malaysia and abroad, including Singapore, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Australia and Vietnam, with a network of 50 strategic locations serving our diverse customer groups.
The acquisition of Winstar Trading in 2015, a company specialises in trading of industrial hardware, also marks the division’s commitment in enhancing Sunway Group’s value. In 2025, Sunway Marketing Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the dealer partner of Zeekr Malaysia, and owns the first Zeekr showroom – Zeekr Space Sunway City. Today, the division operates through nine product groups namely Building Materials, Hoses & Fittings, Heavy Equipment Parts, Heavy Equipment, Industrial Hardware, Material Handling, Renewable Energy, Automotive and Pharmaceutical.
Over the years, the division has developed a range of in-house brands including Sunflex, DCF Trek, Suntrak undercarriage parts and Sunlube lubricants. Winstar has established its own brand, Nietz, which has become well-recognised in the Industrial Hardware sector. In the Pharmaceutical division, several in-house brands have been launched, including Vitpro, Medicare, Bnature, SkinPro, and Happy Bits, among others. Adding to this are Sunway’s well-recognised agency lines such as Zeekr, CASE, Furukawa, Airman, Sany, Huawei, Haier, Double Road, Daechang Forging, FP Diesel, 3M, Bosch, Stanley and etc.
In 2026, T&M Group will be headquartered at its own 42-acre facility, Sunway Enterprise Park, which will feature an ASRS system that will store up to 10,000 pallets and 17,000 miniloads in phase 1. Phase 2 expansion will add another 10,000 pallets.
